The endearing stereotype

Isn't there something endearing and appealing about the typical Tamil guy who is the protagonist of many a Tamil movie? He is twenty something, care(er)free, naive, rebellious, mischievous, happy, popular, charming and macho (why even chauvinistic) - all at once. He could be footboarding on pallavan transport or chatting up with his group of trustworthy friends at the local tea kadai or zipping thru the city on his bike or fighting with his dad (albeit a sense of respect he has for his father, deep down) or coming home late in the night only to be showered by mom's love (expressed thru her insistence on serving him food though it's an ungodly hour) or impressing the girl he is truly madly deeply in love with - his 'angel'.
Any girl who has seen her fair share of tamil movies will find him attractive.
If you can't relate to what I'm talking about, think Karthik of Mouna ragam or Rajni of Thillumullu or Jeeva of Siva manasula Shakti.
The list is long : )
